PRODRIVE offers a complete course, preparing the trainee fully, for all three parts of the ADI examination. Each part can be taken separately, so there is no large outlay of costs at the start. All training is done on a one to one basis, and with Ordit Approved Trainers, so that the trainee gets full value for money. We aim to ensure that the advice regarding theoretical and practical training is accurate and up to date.
Part 1, (theory examination) this at the moment is done by the trainee studying the necessary material at home, with mock papers supplied. The new theory test is now computerised, and as soon as a CD Rom is available, trainees will be able to train using this on the computers at PRODRIVE, or hire a CD Rom for home study.
Part 2, (driving ability) a minimum of 16 hrs training is required for this part and is broken down into 4 four hour modules. This training is carried out by a trainer who holds the ROSPA DIPLOMA.
Part 3, (instructional ability) a minimum of 24 hrs is required for this part, it is broken down into 6 four hour modules. This training is carried out by a former Driving Standards Agency Supervising Examiner ADI.
These courses can be residential, a list of local guest houses and hotels are available on request.
